About Geocaching and Waymarking in South Africa
What is Geocaching?
Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the
participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other
navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called
"geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world.
What is Waymarking?
Waymarking is a means by which people can catalog, mark,
locate and log unique and interesting locations around the world, usually with a
GPS receiver.
Please only upload photographs that are relevant to Geocaching or Waymarking
in South Africa and include a short description including which Geocache /
Waymark you were visiting at the time.
