This group is for pictures of historic sites, buildings and markers visited by George Washington. The group name refers to claims that "George Washington slept here" by various sites, legitimate or not, as a way to pull in tourists in the past. Sites Washington spent the night at are preferred, but any site he has a historic tie to is permissible.
The caption for this photo gave me the idea for the group.
