About Genuine Critiques

This group is all about giving serious, genuine critiques of photographs. Too many comments on Flickr are group-comments or one-liners, which is fine for most people. However, many people from amateurs to professionals would like a bit more feedback.

If you post a photograph to this group to be critiqued, please do the following:
1. Understand that we will be critiquing your photograph honestly and thoroughly, from lighting and technical details to aesthetics and composition.
2. Take the time to critique a photograph or two (or more if you would like) from the pool. We don't require it, but it's nice to do. Try to write more than 50 words, not just a "Nice photo!" or "I like it!" comment.
3. Don't take anything personally, and don't let anything offend you. Use what constructive criticism you get to improve your future shots! Conversely, don't be rude to anybody while critiquing their photograph.
