About Gazpacho Photography
We look for street shots involving many stories, characters, elements, details and/or emotions, blended together into a single picture.
Guidelines for submitting pictures:
- The more elements into the picture, the better it will fit our pool.
- The frame should have at least three elements that draw the attention of the viewer (preferably human beings)
- If there are only three they'd better be extremely interesting.
- What we really look for is social entropy: crowds, details, layers and stories.
- Raw and fresh ingredients means no posed or staged shots, and no tele lens.
Pictures that do not belong to this group:
- street shots where only one or two elements draw all the attention, without other relevant details or characters surrounding the main scene.
- street portraits
- non-street photography
Street performers, homeless people, concerts, manifestations, parades are generally not accepted in the group pool; same goes for excessive postproduction and cropping, while colors, irony, humorism, surrealism and shooting on film are all nice bonuses.
A few images that apparently are not so close to the above description could appear in the group pool for random decision/error of the admins.
