About 2011 GayOutdoors Photography Contest
If you are male, Gay Outdoors invites you to enter its Photography Contest. For the fifth year in the row, we're looking for your best outdoor adventure shots that would look great in a gay outdoors calendar. Your own original digital images of the outdoors comes in many subjects such as mountain vistas, sunsets, foliage, flowers, and wildlife. Capturing guys in the great outdoors is also great provided they are ACTION shots. (Do not include nude photos or photos of pets or domestic animals).
The contest started September 30, 2011 and is open to all men aged 18 or older regardless of residence or citizenship, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation. Read more about the photo contest.
Photo submissions must be uploaded by 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on Monday, October 31, 2011 and tagged correctly for entry. Please read the full rules before entering.
To Enter The GayOutdoors Photo Contest follow these four steps:
1. Join our Flickr™ group if you’re not yet a member.
2. Upload five photos. (You must upload five photos and only five photos)
3. Browse to the image you wish to submit for the contest, and use the "Send to Group" function to add your images to The GayOutdoors photo pool.
If you do not upload your photo to The GayOutdoors group on Flickr™ it will not be considered for the competition.
The Prize
Our judges will select 10-20 finalists. We'll then post the collections from our finalists in the order we received them at our website starting from "1" to "?" and then turn the voting over to our members. We'll then post the final tally by posting the collections with the least votes first and counting down to the number one finisher. The top place finisher will receive $50, be recognized on our website and get bragging rights.
