About The Gate House Photo Contest

Nelson DeMille's THE GATE HOUSE is a novel set on Long Island's plush Gold Coast where the gates are a marvel unto themselves. Do you have a gate that you love? Take a photo of it ! Your photo should also portray the cover of THE GATE HOUSE. Entrants may use their copy of the book or download an image of the cover art for THE GATE HOUSE by going to www.hachettebookgroupusa.com/_images/ISBNCovers/Covers_En.... Prize is a Nelson DeMille library. Just upload your photo to the group pool and you're instantly entered into the contest (subject to the conditions stated in the Contest/Group Rules.).

You can also enter by regular mail by hand printing your name, birth date, complete street address (including zip code), daytime phone number, and email address (if you have one) on a 3”x 5” card, TOGETHER WITH a COPY of your photographic Submission (no larger than 8.5" x 11") and mail it, postage prepaid, to:

The Submission period is 9:00 am (ET) on October 21, 2008 and 11:59 pm (ET) on December 23, 2008. However, if a mail-in entry is postmarked by December 23, 2008, 11:59 pm (ET) and received no later than December 30, 2008, 11:59 pm (ET) it will be accepted as timely.

Winners will be announced after December 30, 2008.

You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United States or Canada to be eligible.
