About Gardening With the Monitor
A Message from the Editors:
Welcome to The Christian Science Monitor's 'Gardening with the Monitor' Photo Group, a place to share your favorite gardening and outdoor photos.
Think you’ve got a prize-worthy photo in your collection? Every other month, our gardening editor will select a theme for a garden photo contest and invite members of the group to submit their images for consideration.
Photo Challenge: “Welcome, Spring”
The current photo contest theme is “Welcome, Spring." Enter your photos of the signs of spring: budding trees, hatching chicks, baby animals and more. Upload your entries to the group pool and tag them (see below) for your chance to win. In May, we will select the winners. (Note: Finalists will be contacted via FlickrMail—be sure to check your inbox!) The winners will receive a note from our Gardening editor and a book selection that focuses on your interests.
TO PARTICIPATE: Add the tag Spring-CSM2010 to the photos in the group pool you wish to enter in the challenge. Entries will be accepted until April 30, 2010. All photos must have been taken in 2010.
