About Gardening for Wildlife

The intent of this group is to help one another make land a refuge for wildlife, identifying and growing plants that provide food and shelter to the greatest variety of animals: birds, mammals, butterflies, beneficial insects, snakes, frogs, etc.

Your photographs should clearly illustrate the plant so people can use them for identification. In your description give as much information as possible:
-which creatures use the plant
-what they use it for (shelter, the berry, flower etc)
-what climate and conditions the plant is best suited to.

Between google, our own books or combined experience, we should be able to help each other figure all this out. And even encourage each other to plant things we might have thought of as "weeds" before.
