About Art Fags
People looking at art in galleries, people who exhibit painting, sculpture, new media in galleries, people making an exhibition of themselves, performance artists, arty art, high art, photos of art in arty places. Nothing 'street,' nothing covert. You need an audience.
Candid photographs, posed photographs, photos of the works, photos of the artiste. Self portraits are good if a) you are a true Art Fag and b) they are as damnably fine as this:
Photographs only.
Really NO: Ekphractics, derivatives, jiggery-pokery photoshoppery nonsense unless you are so good nobody can tell. No graffiti unless it's witty or elegant. Also no cigarette ends, although photographs of Art Fags smoking, filtered or unfiltered, are fine. Pass them around.
Whatever you do, don't Take the Art Fag Test. Tests are so last century. But don't fail it. And if you do, don't tell us.
Don't bother to complain if you get excluded, we bore easily, are profoundly snobbish and maintain a very small clique. Go take comfort in your undoubted talent and join the hoi polloi buskers and pavement stubbers here. Be warned, few people will be members of both. Maybe no-one.
