This group is where I capture and share the very best, most artistic, compelling, creative, moving, bold, original, unique, edgy, brilliant (in my opinion) railway-related photographs on Flickr. Most of the images in this group have made it to Explore, have way above average views or favorites, or otherwise score high on Flickr's "interestingness" meter. I am going to limit the number of images in the group pool (although I do not yet know what the magic number is...certainly no more than 2000). Once I hit the limit, I'll add and delete photos to keep it fresh. I will also not include more than a handful of photos from any one photographer. If you see a photo you believe belongs in this group, please let me know.

Please note, I hand-picked almost every photo in this group. In general, I plan to continue to populate the group by invitiation only. Please be aware, if you submit a photo, there is a 99.9 percent chance I will NOT add it to this group.
