02 May 09 - All kinds of pics are welcome but I am going to post most of my snaps taken around Nathiagali because I love the place and whenever I go there I feel like I am visiting a land where fairy tales are made. Mountains, cool weather, clean environment, greenery and clouds only a stone's throw away. Fog sometimes adds to the romance of the place and mist increases the aura and mystique surrounding it. What more can you ask for?

About Galiyat, The Pakistani AlpsGaliyat is the plural of Gali which literally means an alley but in this case it probably alludes to a valley between mountains. This region is situated about two hour's drive away from Islamabad and the highest point is around Nathiagali which is about 8500 feet above sea level. |
