About The Gadsby Ensemble

GadsBY was formed in 2006. The original line-up comprised Gupta Mahendra (guitars), ade ishs (piano and keyboards), Bowie Djati (drums and percussions), and Yugo Isal (acoustic and electric basses). It's an offshoot of the Ensemble Band, formed in 1996, Gupta, ade, and Bowie were part of which.

The current line-up comprises Gupta Mahendra (guitars, pianica), Bowie Djati (drums and percussions), Yugo Isal (acoustic and electric basses), Shuhud Tjia (guitars, harmonica, trumpet, saxophone), and Andre Maulana (piano and keyboards). ade is on hiatus due to geographical separation.
