About G8 2005
The G8 summit of world leaders came to Gleneagles in Scotland in July 2005. There were many protests planned to coincide with this. Up to a million people attended events such as the 'Make Poverty History' march, the G8 Alternatives demonstration at Gleneagles and the Live8 concerts.
