About G7 Photography Collective

Why G7 Photography Collective?

Foremost, It's basically the "Group of 7" or "G7" for short. The name of the group is based on the circumstances surrounding our photo shoot last Saturday, July 7, 2007 or simply 7-7-7.

When a flickr contact (Kolz) organized and invited 6 other photographers to join him in the said photoshoot...that makes it a total of 7 photographers.

kolz + 6 photographers = 7.

That gathering served as a catalyst of sort for us to ponder on the idea of forming a group that is bound by each member's passion for the art of photography.

Definitely, we're not gonna be limiting ourselves to 7 members only. We only used the "relevant" elements of that particular day to coin the idea/concept for the group name. But the group will be pioneered by those of us who where there.
