About Fairlands Valley Park
Welcome.
This group is for images taken within Fairlands Valley Park (FVP) in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK. FVP is very popular and runs through the heart of Stevenage. It consists of 120 acres of park and woodland and is home to a large variety of wildlife. Activities include a sailing lake with fishing and water sports and many other organised events which include an annual firework display. During 2008 the sailing lake was drained and refurbished but on refilling the lake the water leaked due to damage to the liner.
