This is a horrible shot, technically - but it was the image that demonstrated the enormous latitude of the s5. It was shot blind from the hip, set on manual, improperly exposed in difficult lighting and still gave me details in both the shadows and highlights.
Every time I look at it, I am simply amazed.

Horrible light, but it looks like a painting.
I dont know any other digital camera that can give me a SOOC picture like this.

I think Fuji does the best in-camera digital black and white, taking my breath away ever since my first Fuji digital, the MX-2700. Unlike many other cameras, it's not merely a add-on feature for Fuji, it's like having different grades of B&W film in one camera.
This image blew me away:

Probably the worst possible natural light, and yet.

SOOC

I couldve cropped and adjusted, but I love how the s5 handled the light.

Such quality of shot's here, makes me want to learn more about how these were created...
My favourite ones I've taken so far with my S5 are:

Can't compete with the talents of some of you guys but here are some of my favourites. Have a trip to Paris again next week so I'm going to see how the D300 fares in similar conditions.

Well, I am afraid that I am bit unfamiliar with this blogging and posting process - I put a few in the pool, but couldn't quite figure out how to get them in the reply portion of this post. I will eventually figure it out.. in the meanwhile - hello all.
