No brand 3rd party batteries seem to be hit and miss...some are better then others, the cheapies off ebay i find loose a charge quickly, I guess if you buy from adorama u have warranty if something goes wrong.

Well Ricoh is not a no-brand maker and is actually making the batteries for Fujifilm as OEM :-)
And yes it works fine for me!

Hahnel do a DB-90 equivalent battery for significantly less. I've never had a bad experience with Hahnel. Use them in my Canon G9 and HV20 all the time.
