About FSG Ships

A group dedicated to vessels that were built by Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft.

Since its inception in 1872, FSG has delivered more than 700 units, including barges, submarines, floating docks, tankers, fishing vessels, as well as naval, RoRo and RoPax ships.

On September 17, 2004, BC Ferries announced that it had selected FSG to build three Super C (Coastal) Class vessels. On August 18, 2006, it was announced that FSG was also selected to build their new northern vessel, Northern Expedition.
