About From the Train

What do you see out the window while riding a train? Share your views from intercity rail, commuter rail, metros, subways, light rail, and any other similar forms of rail travel. Landscapes, waterways, buildings, stations, people, rail yards, graffiti-ed walls, roads, tunnels, tracks, any outside scenery flying by as seen from the inside a train. Or by sticking the camera out a window. Or by leaning out a door. Or views of a train's insides with outside views visible. Or people looking out toward those views. Beautiful views, ugly views, whatever, if you shot it from the train.



Remember, the shot must have been taken while aboard a train in motion or otherwise in service. No pictures of trains, tracks, stations, rail paraphernalia, or other train-related things unless you are on the in-service train. Shots taken from a station platform, standing on tracks, on a non-moving train out of service, etc., are not for this group.

Please give information in the image description or in the tags to say the image was shot from a train, if that fact is not evident from looking at the image.
