04 Nov 10 - Hurricane Richard hit the Belize Zoo on 10/24/2010 and urgently needs help to get back on its feet. LOOK AT THE DAMAGE IN THE FIRST POOL PHOTOS. What can Flickr users do to help? Who better to help than those of us who've captured incredible images at the Zoo? Our photos show the Belize Zoo is a wonderful resource and does important work. About Friends of the Belize Zoo

1.) Share our best photos from the Belize Zoo, "The Best Little Zoo in the World", and their Tropical Education Center.

2.) Raising awareness about the damage Hurricane Richard did to the Zoo on 24 October 2010. See the Director of the Belize Zoo Sharon Matola's Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=743248082 for updates.
