About The best of free photos

This group is intendend to aggregate the best free (as in speech) photos on Flickr. We understand the term "free" as it is defined on freedomdefined.com. The following freedoms should be granted: to use the work, to study the work, to make and redistribute copies, in whole or in part, to make changes and improvements, and to distribute derivative works. So we accept CC BY- and CC BY-SA-licensed photos, as well as some other FREE licensed (e.g. GFDL or Free Art License), but non-free CC licenses (such as -NC or -ND) are not allowed here.
