About Freedom of the Seas
The 160,000-tonne Royal Caribbean International vessel Freedom of the Seas is the largest Cruise liner in the world!
At 1,112ft long, the ship is longer than 37 double-decker buses and is 237ft high - more than half the height of the London Eye.
The 15 passenger deck vessel will leave on Wednesday (3rd May) for New York where a naming ceremony will take place.
The vessel has the world's largest at-sea fitness centre as well as the largest rock-climbing wall.
The giant vessel also has a surf park where passengers can ride the waves. Other facilities include a family water park, a full size boxing ring and a gym.
The ship will cruise in the Caribbean. It has taken over as the largest passenger liner from the 150,000-tonne Southampton-based Cunard vessel the Queen Mary 2.
