About Franciscan Ware Collectors

Gladding, McBean & Co. created Terra Cotta, Garden Wares, Tiles, Franciscan Ware, and Catalina Artware thru 1942. In the later years they graced our tables with lines of Family China and Fine Cina. The California Plant closed it's doors in 1984 after it was sold to Wedgewood.

Franciscan Collectors, better known as "Fran"atics or in some cases "Fran"addicts, like to celebrate the quality and craftmanship of the California Years.

This group is a place to celebrate your collection thru photos, share photos of your Grandmother's China, or share vintage photos with Franciscan ware tablesettings, in the kitchen, etc.
