About fotoLocket
FotoLocket, based on the "Evolving Principles of Business Artivism", is the catch-all term for a collaborative photo blog in development, a photo storage device sold online (go to Sam's FotoLocket), and sundry other image-related enterprises currently in development.
The blog will have photo essays, galleries, tips, tutorials, and the goal is to tap into an overwhelmingly rich and underappreciated talent pool I and Hong Kong-based Photographer Sam Stearman have found online on Flickr, a photo sharing website that brings together folks from as disparate locales as New Zealand, France, Thailand and Romania.
We want all the amazing images we have seen and the stories behind them to be seen and heard and felt. And we want to try to promote those who work with us and vice versa. Our goal is to get people working together and helping each other out in a bottom-up side to side kind of way.
Call it "trickle up economics" or maybe "coalition capitalism," but whatever you call it, the implication is clear: in a globalized and increasingly networked world community we are all in this crazy little thing called "life" together, meaning the fate of the few and the fate of the many are more and more becoming one and the same.
Welcome to the meaning of the InterdependiNet and welcome to the meaning of FotoLocket. We're all connected now.
