About FOTO+BUMAGA

"Foto+bumaga" (rus: "Фото+бумага") stands for "photo+paper" and this is the name of the bi-lingual (Rus/Eng) street photography magazine published on HP service magcloud.com
The magazine is published in Russian and in English with English version been translation of the Russian. The title of the English version is "Photo+Paper".
The magazine is dedicated to street photography (mostly, but not exclusively).
In this group I will be publishing the images from its issues; you are also welcome to submit your images to the group; they all will go through editorial staff's hands and eyes.

It is a personal project of Emir Shabashvili (me)
- the magazine is published by a street photographer for the street photographers.
- "Photo+Paper" is English version of Russian-language magazine - "Фото+Бумага".
- "Photo+Paper" is a post-Internet publication, meaning everything in it had been already publushed in Internet.
- It is also image-based, not text-based magazine. There will be text, but very limited.
- There will be no free copies for authors (sorry!), if you need one, you have to order it.
- There will be free pdf for everyone, screen-resolution (pictures no more than 1024 px longer side).
- The magazine will be published using POD service. The price of the copy will be from $10 to $15. The price is equal to production cost.

Few more points:
- no rights to the images published will automatically be granted to the editor other then the right to publish it in the current copy on the magazine "Photo+Paper". Images in print resolution will not be passed to the 3rd parties.
- there will be 2 main sections: "View" and "Chronicles". "View" will be a portfolio of 10-12 images of one photographer, and "Chronicles" will be 20-25 images from different photographers.
- "View" is optional, "Chronicles" will be in every issue of the magazine.
- every photograph in the "Chronicles" section will have its own sheet, not page -- i.e. it will be photograph on one side and white page on the other side.
- magazine's page count will be from 50 to 76 (25-38 sheets), up to 35 photographs
- all authors will receive screen-resolution pdf for approval before publication.
- I am cautiously hoping to publish "Prints" once every 3-4 Month.
