Foto2 Group presents: the Foto 2.0 Show, July 2006

1. The opening event was fabulous: The Brickhouse Bar and Cafe on Brannan, between 3rd and 4th Streets in S.F. hosts the month-long July show. Maps, logistics and a place to see who RSVP'd for the 7/6 opening if you like at upcoming.org/event/82408/ ]

2. This group site: A place to find the photographers whose stuff is hanging. Many photos from this show and the November and May shows, are up in the Group Pool (those little thumbnail images above!) along with some shots of the opening parties shot by the Foto2 members. Unlike most Flickr groups, this one is not open to all to join, since we are using it as the primary contact for our show. To upload your own images of opening/party, or want to comment and connect, please come by SFlicker Social, a wonderful group to join and a place to arrange meetups!

3. One July image per photographer follows below:
Click on images to see a larger picture with comments. Click on names to either find out how to contact the Foto2 photographers (via their Profile link), or to look at more of their recent photos. If you cannot figure out how to contact a photographer to make a purchase you may send mail to gwilliams {at} salon.com with "Foto2 show" in the subject line. All of the Foto2 photographers want to place their best images in good homes, and will be happy to call or email you to expedite your purchase! Examples of our work:
