About Fort Madison, Iowa and Southeastern Iowa

Any photo's are welcome that are taken in or around the Fort Madison area including the South Eastern Iowa area. Please do not post photo's that belong in other groups. For example there is a Burlington, Iowa group so please post Burlington photo's there. Posting Burlington photo's here is disrespectful to the hard work that group has done and continues to do. I am a member of that group and encourage you to join it especially if you have photo's to share there. This group is primarily for Fort Madison, Iowa and the small surrounding cities and areas that don't have their own group on flickr. Any South Eastern Iowa photo will be welcome unless stated above there already exists a group for the city or area the photo was taken.

If you need suggestions for photo sites or subjects you might try posting a thread. I would love to see some Shimek State Forest photo's. The Bald Eagles are always flying along the river in Fort Madison this time of the year also.

Although I was born and raised in Burlington, Iowa I have Family all over the area including a brother and his family in Fort Madison. I make it back to the area from my home in Council Bluffs, Iowa 6 - 8 times a year and love the entire area.
