Wedge Heels & Wartime - Forties in Print [VINTAGE]

Celebrating the fabulous illustrators (and graphic designers) of the 1940s, and the illustrations and print design they created. Wartime includes late 1939-1945. Submissions from after the war (1945-1949) are also very welcome!!

Illustration and print design of the forties, including:
Editorial illustration, fashion advertising and illustration, magazine and newspaper advertisement, book illustration, propaganda posters, editorial cartoons, sheet music, record cover illustration, postcards, typography and package design.

NOT for recent reproductions, contemporary collage, contemporary items in a retro "art-deco or 40s-style," family photos, or anything that wasn't produced by commercial printing processes of the 1940s.

Scans and photos should be taken by YOU of original items, NOT harvested off the internet, or scanned from recent/contemporary books that reproduce these vintage items.
