About For The Love Of Science!

This group has been created to collect photographs of "cool science" (although, honestly, how can science NOT be cool?? haha): photographs spanning from everyday observations to homemade experiments to competitive projects - if the subject illustrates cool science in action, we want it.

If the scientific principle being shown in the photograph is not immediately clear, please include a brief explanation in the description. Also, this is a Public Group and should be appropriate for all ages. Please refrain from shots of nudity, violence, gore, and other such themes.

Above all: have fun and be creative! Science is everywhere and even the most mundane-seeming thing (reflection in a puddle, for example) can be described by beautiful principles. They say truth is stranger than fiction: this group is to help us see AND explain the strange and cool science in our daily lives.
