About For a Day

I was super surprised when searching that no one else on all of flickr had used the tag for a day! So that got me thinking about creating a group... So, I did!

Ever wanted to be something, anything that you're not just For a Day? Here's your chance!

This group is all about doing/being something For a Day (or a moment) only. The photos don't have to be of you... they can be of friends or family too - if you captured that brilliant moment where they let go and did something different then share it with us!

I hope we'll also be able to have theme days too... wherein we set a theme for a particular date or day and either dress up or go out and do that theme and do what we do best... take photos of it!

So, tell all your friends and family, get people to come along and suggest a new theme. This could be that one chance you were looking for - an excuse to be what you want to be just For a Day!

Please tag the photos you add to the pool with "for a day"
(include the quote marks!)

Maybe, one day... in the future... if this idea becomes popular enough we could create a blog to show the world that doing/being something different For a Day can not only be great fun but make great photos too!
