About *footnotes

This is a special project for this *footnotes group. It is a participatory design project for my masters degree in design. If you would like to participate, please follow these simple instructions:

• Think about the definition of a footnote; an explanatory or documenting note or comment at the bottom of a page, referring to a specific part of the text on the page.

• Then think about your day (week, month etc.) as your pages, and reflect on the part of your day that stands out the most and think of it as your footnote.

• On one of your feet, briefly state that memorable event (decision, activity etc.) of the day

• On the opposite foot, briefly state your reaction to (or your feelings about) that event

The location on your foot (side, top, bottom), how you write, and it what language you choose, is up to you. (technical note for legibility, choose a medium that reads well on your skin)

• Finally, find a place to take a picture of your feet, together, and post it to the group.

I will be creating a poster from these images, but I will not be putting your name or otherwise labeling your feet, just the image is all. Please be mindful of the clarity (I want to be able to read your footnotes!) and try not to crop any of your toes :)

If you have any questions, let me know, and pass this on to any of your friends you feel will enjoy participating as well. I need to get 243 pictures, so if you feel so inclined to let your kids or mates do it and post those footnotes well :)

Thank you so much for being a part of this project! and special thanks to the group owner for letting me jump in and co-host this project on here!
