About Folk Music

Well I couldn't find one which wasn't surprising, so I decided to start up a Folk Music group.

This is for all you folkies who know how much fun a ceilidh is, how great and diverse the folk music scene is, and how much the people who dismiss it are missing out on.

Edit: I didn't want to have to impose any rules because it should all be very obvious, but after a recent bout of flooding from somebody who thought 150 pictures of Madonna was acceptable, I thought it best that I introduce a couple of guidelines.

1. Please keep it relevant. The group is called "Folk Music" which is a term that applies to a hell of a lot of artists and musical styles, but Britney Spears isn't one of them.

2. Photos and images should be your own, or yours to show. The odd album sleeve or book cover here and there perhaps, but no magazine shots or other copyright material please.

3. Enjoy our group.
