A group of enthusiasts keeping alive the memory of the Ancient Order of Froth Blowers.A charitable organisation that rose in 1924 - the Brainchild of an extremely witty man , Bert Temple, to raise money for the Wee Waifs charities of Sir Alfred Fripp, surgeon to the King, as way of a thank you for saving his life with an abdominal operation.
The AOFB went on to raise well in excess of £100,000 by 1930 for childrens charities, providing hospital beds and their upkeep. The AOFB had around 700,000 members worldwide by the time of it's (voluntary) demise in 1931.
