Fo-QUE-so or Fo-CUS-o when you purposely put your picture completely out of focus for artistic reasons.

Bokeh is beautiful and is a wonderful foil for a subject. In some cases, going with a complete picture of bokeh can be very mood setting and used for backdrops - for your desktop, etc. Also it help explore light and composition much like impressionists.

Try it out - it works very well with colorful leaves, lights at night but might work any where. Long exposures allow you to adjust focus and or zoom for interesting effects as well.
