About Focus Hocus For DIY photographers who make Images created with found, homemade or altered lenses. Lenses can be homemade, found (such as a piece of glass), removed from another camera, a portion of a lens or an element or elements taken from another lens or a broken camera. If you come up with a great lens from another source - it might be cool to show and tell. Basic is good. Jerry-built is good. Rudimentary is good. Makeshift is good. Sophisticated is good. Innovative is great. Creative is the best. No commercial lenses, No Lensbaby, No Lomo unless you take the camera apart and utilize the lens /lenses in a new way. No fakes. A few examples: • Diana lens on a D-SLR (No Diana F+, Lomo stuff) • A lens you constructed from found lenses • lenses extracted from a complex lens and reused in some new way • Projection lenses • Magnifying glasses • Binoculars • An eyeball ; ) Please explain your lens, what you used and show us what it can do.
