Oh wow! Looks great.
On any view you can not click on the 'share' link
You meant "now", right?

I think this upgrade is very wonderful.
When I reload my page just before, I was surprised.
Very glad that Fluidr is continuing its improvement.
Just Go Ahead !!

Don't like the large text, I find it hard to read. Don't like that now you need to click 'search' to bring up the search box. Still no option to list my flickr groups.

Don't like the different shade of colors that u put on the top of the page.
Also, want to be able to change the default size of photo to large automatically so that the viewer can see it as the standard as I wanted.

Nice job haelio for this new version ^^.
Like Tachypnea, I don't really like the large text, especially in the header, may be it's the font itself, find it strange ....
For the shape of differents colors on top of the page, why not ^^.
The possibility to show large image is nice.
To have the possibility to at least show our flickr groups could be very nice.
And a suggestion, in the filter option, may be to have the possibility to choose to show only public or private content.

What attracted me to Fluidr in the first place was the white & gray on black and the strong ("virile"?) header. Now, this header has become a big turnoff: 1) The typeface is too weak, too thin; 2) The FLUIDR logo has no impact; 3) "user -->" should not be in color (and please, drop the arrow); 4) the thin rainbow on top is totally superfluous.
On the other hand, plenty of good new stuff: 1) the words next to the logo that change color, nice touch; 2) all the options (photo sizes, metadata, etc.), are great.
The old FLUIDR looked crisp and professional. The new header makes it flaky and amateurish. Oooops. Sorry. I didn't get a good training in diplomacy :)

I do like the functional changes, but please please bring back the old header. Or replace it with something that does not break the professional, no-nonsense, and above all coherent look I adopted Fluidr for.
At first I thought my browser had gone [wisteling sound here], or that perhaps a font was missing from my OS. In any case that there was something wrong instead of had improved.
Sorry.
Nevertheless thank you so much for Fluidr in the first place!

This would be cool... Even if we could just add a slight tweak to the URL so a link would go to the large view straightaway, I could live with that.

The option to add something to the end of the URL that will default to the large size is something I plan to add soon. This will be a part of an update to the 'link here' section that makes it easier to generate such links.
For now, you can add the following to the end of a URL to change the default view:
Meta visibility:
&opMeta=show
&opMeta=hide
Meta dimming:
&opMetaDim=true
&opMetaDim=false
Font size:
&opFonts=big
&opFonts=small
A new option for the size following the same format is on the way.
Another suggestion that got my attention was the one asking for a listing of a user's groups. This can be part of a larger change to have a 'home' page for signed in users that shows you stuff that you would care about (the last 5 photos from your contacts, groups etc.).
Also, about the feedback, please don't hold back. If being 'diplomatic' means that you don't speak your mind then we all lose out :)

I'm impressed with almost all of the changes. Larger images, a customization option for thumbnail size and many other things. The monochromatic icons help add to the professional, monochromatic feel that Fluidr had for the most part, so that the emphasis was on the photos -- the user content. =D
Unfortunately, I don't think I really like the new fonts either. It looks out-of-place from an otherwise clean, professional setting in my opinion, and I feel like it detracts a lot from the rest of the updates. If there's an option to change the header's fonts back to the old ones, I think that'd make this update perfect. =] I hope you guys consider making that an option.
Other than that, thanks for Fluidr. I've used it lots because I liked how clean and out-of-the-way it looked, as well its polish. =]

A quick update on the font situation. It seems that some browser/OS combinations are having issues rendering the header font correctly. I'm trying to get to the bottom of the issue.
If the header doesn't look something like this, it is not rendering correctly: i.imgur.com/tGaxO.png

Thanks for the update. If it helps, I'm seeing exactly what your screenshot shows.
Using Windows XP (both Firefox and Chrome).

Fluidr,
I'm not sure I'd know what to do without your site. I hope you guys stick around because Fluidr is the best presentation alternative I've found so far. i love it.
P.S.
I think the tiny strip of "rainbow" colors at the top of the page is not distracting, as some others seem to be saying. It could be the Fluidr "trademark", and it compliments text colors in the black background.
My 2cents.

<-- I agree with everything he said!
Fluidr is a wonderful product. HUGE thanks to the inventor and those involved! Fluidr just makes everything better. I hope it lasts as long as Flickr does! I've been using it for quite some time and the new changes are wonderful.
I can't say enough good things about Fluidr. THE BEST.

Another minor update -- click on the 'share' link and you can now specify what options you want in the link.
You can chose:
* the size of the photos displayed
* whether metadata will be visible or not
* whether the metadata will be dimmed until hovered over
* the font size
Once the page loads, the user can change the settings to suit them, but the initial load will be as you specify.
There a few other visible changes, such as showing allowing descriptions to be longer before slapping scrollbars on them.
No updates to the fonts yet as I haven't got to the bottom of the issue. It appears that Chrome has made some changes in their recent releases that mess up font rendering. Hopefully they'll sort things out soon.
