About Wildflowers of Britain
This group is intended to celebrate the beauty, diversity and fascination of British wildflowers. Don't worry if you don't know the names - this is not a group for experts!
Only plants growing in the wild in the British Isles are included.
Specifically excluded are plants growing in botanic and domestic gardens
Flowers of wild trees and shrubs are included, but photos of whole trees should be placed in our sister group "Trees of Britain"
Ferns are excluded as they are covered in our sister groups - "Ferns of Britain". Also excluded are fungi , mosses and liverworts
Exotic aliens are perfectly acceptable as long as they are escapes growing in the wild.
Wildflowers as imaginative art are welcome too.
