About The Florida Photographer

Florida Photographers Group is a consortium of Florida Photographers or Photographers shooting in Florida, offering varying photography styles at different levels.
This group is for photographers wanting to get more out of their cameras. My hope is as we grow, we will have meetings for different styles and levels of expertise, allowing for the growth of the members as well. Lots of events to!
Members will be able to share photography tips and ideas to help improve their photography skills. Also, be able to share tips on ways to post process an image using some type of photo editing programs.
There will be weekly projects so members can practice a certain skill.
This is a new group so am very open to ideas and suggestions.
Pool size per day is unlimited.
People who are just being rude and obnoxious, and are generally trying to offend, shock, harass, abuse or otherwise annoy people, Will be banned!

Monthly Competition
1. Only photos taken after the competition is announced are allowed.
2. The viewer should be able to make a reasonably easy connection between the photo and the assignment.
3. No more than one post per category per month (you may swap photos as much as you like, up until the end of the month.
4. Prizes are sometimes available, and can vary widely in value. This may mean that, for some months, the prize is recognition for the win by displaying the winning photographer’s name, with the winning image, while other months, if sponsored, a specific prize will be announced in the monthly challenge announcement.
