This group is about a group of friends trying to improve their photographic abilities by voting each month who has taken the best photos. This way they can learn of eachother and be inspired by one another. Public is also welcome.

General Info
Photos taken each month will be based on a topic. The topic will be determined by a member of the Flickya group in a random order.

Each photographer can submit a maximum of 5 photos for the month.

The cycle will start on the beginning of each calander month and all photos needs to be submitted by the 28th of each month. Votes need to be submitted by the end of the month except for the month of February which is due on the 25th of the month and votes submitted by the 28th.

Note: No old photos are able to be submitted. The point of this group is to get our members out there and take shots for that topic of the month.

Voting

You are able to only vote other photographers photos and not your own.
You must vote the best 3 photos for that month. Scores are made up by:
1) Best Photo - 3 Points
2) Runner Up Photo - 2 Points
3)Third Place Photo - 1 Point

To submit a vote post your vote on the discussion thread for that topic. (Below is a guide on how you can do it.)

I vote the following:
1) I vote best photo for this month is "name of picture" which belongs to "name of photographer". (It would be appreciated to also give a reason for your best photo for the month.)
2) I vote runner up photo for this month is "name of picture" which belongs to "name of photographer".
3) I vote third place photo for this month is "name of picture" which belongs to "name of photographer".
