On the 12th of march, 2006, 5 flickr photographers held the opening night of the first australian flickr exhibition!

This group is for photos shown on display at the exhibition, and also photos taken at the exhibition.

talsit de cod
has been happily snapping away with his cameras for many years. although interested in almost all aspects of photography, his current exhibition focuses on his recent trip to spain, his birthland.

*hime*
has been interested in photography since she was inspired by talsit de cod two years ago. her interest is mainly in portraiture and architecture which she studies at university. in this exhibition she expresses ‘self’ through photographs of people who have influence on her in various ways.

justin hevey (splash)
his background is not only in webdesign, but also as a talented well-travelled international photographer that has an eye for capturing the essence of everyday life no matter where he is. his forte is contemporary deadpan aesthetic which is the focus of this current exhibition: bums on seats.

alfarman
lives in the blue mountains and that is were most of his images come from. his works are mainly flowers in marco mode and he likes to explore a world within a world as he loves colour and detail.

sarah baker
has been taking photographs since first moving overseas to london in 1999. she has undertaken studies at the australian centre for photography in fashion and lighting. her preferred projects include food, lifestyle, fashion and travel.
