About Flickr Watch - The group that keeps tabs on everything Flickr!

Flickr Watch is a simple group designed to kee wtch on everyting Flickr!
That includes Explore, Interestingness, and cool groups, photographers and photos!

Here's the lowdown.

There will be several threads running at one time. The Explore thread for the month; the Cool groups thread; the Cool photographers thread; the Cool photos thread; the Photo of the Day thread; and the Interestingness thread. There may be other threads running as well.
See below for a detailed desciption of all the threads.

The Explore Thread - Every day, a new photo will be on the Explore front page. This is an honour for some of us and a privilige for others. It is also a great chance for the rest of us to see great photos. So, in this group, you will have quick and easy acess to all the photos that have been on the front page of Explore in any month of the year! This is an admin's job so please do not post a photo yourself. It will be removed. Each day the photo posted to this group will become the group's icon.

The Cool Groups thread - Everyone knows of at least one cool group they love and this is a place to swap links, ideas and just have fun! Please do not post photos to this thread. It is not aloud. Please only post links to one group at a time. When you post a group name to this thread, please take a look at one other of the groups posted to the thread before yours. If you like the look of the group from reading the rules, then join! If it's not for you, then got back to the thread and find another one. Keeps doing this till you find a group you like. If you find more than one group - great! Keep it up!

The Cool Photographers thread - This thread is not a place to get more publicity for your own photostream. This is a place where you can post the link to someone's photostream (i.e. not yours) that you think has quality. Or maybe you just think they have interesting ideas. Whatever the reason, it has to be a photostream that you love to browse through.

The Cool Photos thread - This thread is similar to the Cool Photographers thread in that you are asked to post photos that are not in your photostream. There will be other threads for your photos only, so please take the time to choose one of your favourite photos from other Flickr members and post it to this thread.

The Interestingness thread - Do you like browsing through the interestingness pages? Well, if you do then you'll love browsing through this thread. Every week (not every day) 10 photos will be posted to the thread found in Flickr's interestingness pages. This will be done by admins. Any photos posted by members will be removed.

Before we explain about the Photo of the Day thread, we need to explain about the pool.
You can post any photos you like to the pool. NO FLOODING. FLOODING RESULTS IN AN INSTANT REMOVAL. SECOND OFFENSE RESULTS IN A BAN. Nudity/porn is not aloud and results in an instant ban. Keep it clean.
You may post up to 5 photos per day.

The Photo of the Day thread - Now we've talked about the pool, we can talk about Photos of the Day. In this thread each day, an admin will post 5 photos that the absolutely love, or that they think are exceptional shots.

There will also be thread running where you can post your favourite shots, your most popular shots, and themed threads as well.
