About Flickr's Favorites (an invitation only group)

This group will acquire some of the best photos that can be found on flickr in order to create a truly spectacular slide show.

To be eligible for this group the photo the photo needs to be invited into the group and needs to have at least 3 favorites. The invitation can happen by an administrator or by a comment with the invitation code shown below.

In order for the slide show to work well only large enough photos will be allowed in this group. This group is not for photos that are only visible in 500 pixel size.

Flickr only creates the 1024 large size if the original is at least 1281 pixels large. If the owner of the photo is a pro member and allows access to his originals then photos between 1000 and 1280 pixel original size will work too. Slightly smaller photos might be allowed too at the discretion of the group administrators.

You are encouraged to favorite and comment photos in the pool but there is no formal requirement for it.

The group pool is only open to invited photos with at least 3 favorites and big enough to look good in the slide show.
