About Flickr Photo Marathon

There are various groups already on flickr for posting the results of photo marathons, but none that I can see that actually allow people to enter one.

And that's what this group is for.

A date will be picked and a list of 12 topics posted. Your job will then be to go out on that date and get a single image of each topic.

The rules:

1) It's obviously going to be pretty much impossible to completely enforce the rest of the rules, so you'll just have to agree to be good.

2) A date will be set and a list of 12 topics posted. The list will be posted as near to the day as possible to minimise the amount of pre-planning available.

3) You go out and take shots to illustrate those topics.

4) The topics should be taken in order. Your memory card at the end of the day should contain 12 images.

5) All shot selection should be done on your camera. Viewing, and digital manipulation of, your shots on a computer is not allowed. You may take more than one shot of a topic and then delete whichever ones you don't want.

6) Flashguns, tripods and filters are allowed.
