About Flickr Photo Contests [need more voters]

Flickr Photo Contests

This group is aimed at amateur photographers who want to display their work to an expanded audience. It focuses around monthly, weekly and themed contests so that they are constantly challenged to produce high quality photos...And is also a bit of fun.

The Pool

Only sensible photos may be added to the pool. (no nudity etc)
The pool will be monitored.

Contests

There will be a variety of contests running including monthly, weekly and themed contests.

Weekly contests will run as open till thursday evening when they will be changed to voting.

Monthly contests will run as open till the 23rd of the month leaving a week for voting.

Themed contests will run as open till 5 photos have been entered, the 5th person must then begin the voting. Voting will continue till a photo has scored 5 votes to win.

Contest instructions and rules will be in each contest description.


Group Rules

- Members may enter as many contests as they wish at any one time.
- The same one photo must not be entered in more than one contest simultaneously.
- Nudity will not be accepted in any case.
- New members must invite some contacts upon joining.
