11 Nov 11 - This is a group that asks for just a little bit more... a story. We want to know a little about the who, what, when where, and why of your railway photos. We ask our members to write a short article style caption to tell the story of the train... not just train 123 at location xyz. Remember, even if it a local service for you it could be half way around the world for me. Let everyone know what makes railways special for you, give technique tips or explain a location. Thanks :)

About Flickr's Railway World Journal

A photo journal of the happenings around the world. We ask submitters to write a short article about there railway image to explain what it is all about. Whether it is the regular service between A and B or a story of something that happened that day, if it is worthy of telling and railway related we want it here.

This is not in anyway for publication but as a way to keep up with the railways of the world using flickr as a medium.

The group will be moderated and photos submitted limited to one per day.
