Anyone is welcome to join the FIS and post topics and participate in discussions but we'd like to encourage you to submit shots taken during a FIS meet-up.
The FIS flickr group is a handy communication medium for those of us who are meeting through flickr. We post notices of upcoming meetings here, as well as notices of interesting events that are worth photographing. A calendar for those meetings and events can be found here:
We welcome ALL camera users - digital and analog! FIS is not meant to replace the more general groups on Seoul or Korea, it is just something extra.
If you'd like to contribute images to the pool please join us at one of our outings. We always welcome new members!
The pool is also open to photo contributions from 2 or more FIS members who've met outside of our 'official' FIS meet-ups. The reason we suggest 2 or more is to help keep the pool focused on FIS social photoshoots. If you head off on your own for a photoshoot then use the Korea Image pool or any other appropriate group pool. Please tag your photos with FIS or “Flickr in Seoul”.
As well, please limit yourself to posting 5 photos to the pool within a 24 hour period. Select your favourite photos from a photowalk, rather than posting everything you've taken. Shots you thought turned out nicely and photos of other members of FIS make especially good pool submissions.
