known issues:
tags with non-alphanumeric characters
The script strips the ,"!@#%-_='/;` and space characters from the tag(s) to search for. The same way the search feature in Flickr works.
Example:
The Flickr API returns the TPHoF-week 53 tag as tphofweek53. Before checking, the script will convert the given tag to the Flickr API form.

Flickr does the same: searching for "Intentional Camera Movement" or for intentionalcameramovement yield the same results when searching.

Something strange with this one.
I go to the photo page you mention. The photo belongs to 'Robin Bain'.
From this photo page, I can see it's in the 'Ayrshire Coast' pool. Using the pool's link on this photo page: www.flickr.com/groups/ayrshirecoast/pool/with/5179708116/ I get on the first page of the pool, but I don't see this photo!
At the bottom of the pool's page, 'Robin Bain' is listed as one of 'The Top Five Contributors'. I click this link, and I get There isn't anything by Robin Bain visible to you in the Ayrshire Coast pool.

I'm finding this script very useful. I'm checking a group with 105,977 - 212 pages of 500 photos. After page 203 has been checked the check page button doesn't automatically display check page 204. If I manually try pages above 203 the script appears to work very quickly implying the pipe isn't checking any tags. Have I reached the page limit of the script and/or pipe?

There is no explicit limit. Not in the script, nor in the pipe. The API doesn't specify a limit either.

The pipe uses an un-authenticated API call to retrieve the photos, hence it only gets to see the public photos.
The group has a total of 101421 public photos in the pool. That makes for 203 pages of public photos :)

I currently moderate several groups, which require to comment on submitted images.
I don't need to count awards on my images submitted to different groups.
Task is pretty simple: for every photo in the pool, count how many comments submitter did in the group (next 2 or 3 pages)
For comment - we can assume certain text string, like URL for Award image.

It should just work.
I was about to ask if that was a private group. Never tested the script on a private pool.
Just tried it. And that seems to trigger the error "pipe error: You don't have permission to view this pool".
Will have a look at it.

Looks like it won't work for private group pools.
And there is another restriction. Using the API, the script will only receive pool entries from Flickr that have their 'search' option set.
Maybe it's time to rethink this script...

Hmm. I'm no good with pipes myself, but from a quick look at the script, it looks as if you're passing an auth_hash to the pipe (in order to get private/priviledged content), but that variable isn't actually being used in the pipe itself. Could you just add another text input node and modify the URL builder a bit to include the auth_hash part when talking to the API server?
About the search issue - is that really the case? Doesn't the restriction you can set in your account settings only refer to actual search calls? The pipe uses flickr.groups.pools.getPhotos, so that shouldn't be affected, should it?

visp wrote ...to include the auth_hash part when talking to the API server? Using the "auth_hash" variable would not help. The call should really be signed, when calling from outside of Flickr itself.

You get something similar when you visit a group pool without being singed in. Photos with the Search setting turned off, won't be visible either.

~shrewd~ wrote How is the syntax for looking after two tags? You can use a regular expression.
In your example, separate both tags with '|' (the pipe symbol; read it as 'or')intentionalcameramovement|icm This will match any tag that contains icm (like PicMonkey, or SICMA).
To match it exactly, use '^' (caret) to denote the start of the tag, and '$' (dollar) to denote the end of the tag:intentionalcameramovement|^icm$ For pre*Game I use the following expression:^pregame(sweep|duel)?winner$ which will match the tags
• pregamewinner
• pre game winner
• pre*Game Winner
• pre*Game Sweep Winner
• pre*Game Duel Winnner
• ...
~shrewd~ wrote but the space is eliminated after I press
Flickr normalizes tags when searching:
• spaces are removed
• upper case letters are replaced with lowercase
• ..
The script will do the same before calling the API. Not all punctuation characters are covered yet. Next version will do a better job :-)

I used the option to "hide photos that have the required tag(s)". They disappeared as if the tag was present. It's related to the photos having a similar tag. In this case "onelettersmall". If you need an exact match on a tag, use^oneletter$ as search tag. It's a regular expression that says
• ^ from the start
• oneletter: your tag
• $ till the end
Or, "the tag should start with the letter o, and end with r, with only 'nelette' in between.
