Who are supposed to read your mind, erm, computer config and know which ones need editing? The least you could do is post which ones you are finding have problems.

I have problems with Flickr Buddy Icon reply script which disappears in the new Photo Page layout... I hope someone can fix it because it is the most useful script I've ever put my hands on.
Flickr gives you a quick Reply link but it produces a big icon in your comment, yuck!

•►► Flickr 2010, modified
(Layout has been modified using the Personalized Web extension for Google Chrome with CSS code that I cobbled together. Any other mechanism for modifying the CSS for a page should work, e.g., the Stylish add-on for Firefox:
- Makes the photo's title bold. This helps the title stand out, especially when there is no description for the photo (it almost blends in with the "Comments and faves" header, otherwise).
- Restores commenters' icons to their original (full) size. The larger icons are easier to see.
- Changes the background color of the page to pure white.
- Changes the background color of the lightbox to pure black.
- Disabled/commented out. Gets rid of the graphical map.)

There are some nice features on the new page, very clean looking, tho it will take a bit of time to get used to. I opted out of the preview because the buddy icon hack doesn't work with it. Or maybe it was the referrer link. One of them, but now I can't remember which. Hopefully, that will be updated soon after the new page goes live.

Perhaps they are trying to eliminate these scripts because they illuminate features that flickr has lacked for a long time? This new photo page is Flickr Staffs way of fighting back against the embarrassments they've suffered over the years by being proven so inadequate that someone else had to do what they weren't capable of doing??

First, you can still use the bracket method (post the photopage URL between brackets.)
Second, they've moved the "grab html" from the All Sizes page to the "Share This" button. It's actually easier now. :-)

It was about time for Flickr to include the very popular automatic buddy icon reply in it's own script - in the new version ALL the appearing buddy icons are small - and less prominent to follow, hélas! -, hence no difference.

It will show the awards below the photo. [edit: the script has been updated by the author: www.phazeshift.co.uk/awardcounter.html

I like the See all in pool by user , and will miss that !
Award counter ,I hope that does work I think it is there on discussion pages and pools.I will try the fix mentioned if that helps to show it on the top of each photo pages comment list again .
Thanks for all of your work to make these scripts and add ons for us to use ,all of you who has ever written them .You are appretiated !

The weird thing is that on the old system toy could restrict someone to not downloading, and all you could see is the medium. Under the new system, you can now select Actions ... View All Sizes.
I just tried it with an image that was restricted. Old system. Just the medium to see. Can't save it, have to go get Steeve's All Sizes+. With that I can get the 1024x768 large. Same if I use the View Page Info in Firefox.
Under this new system the 1024x768 is viewable by clicking on large. Can't save it, so I can use Firefox's View Page Info.
So, it seems that whatever size you download, the visitor will be able to see it, and if you can see it, you can download it.

Yes, the All Sizes behavior has changed, BUT, the "large" size has always been available through the API, and even through simple means like the Flickr slideshow and third-party viewing sites or apps.
Hiding the "All Sizes" button has never actually prevented anyone from getting to the "large" size.
(And note, on the preferences page where you set your all sizes restrictions, it clearly says that this will not prevent downloading, and it's said that for a long time.)
On both the old and new layouts, you can prevent access to your original size, just as before. :-)

The Award Counter now works - BIG THANKS! - but directly under the photo it's annoying on photos that are not concerned in the group work (own & these of friends), interfering with the title and description. It used to be lower, under the description.
Still miss the QUICK COMMENT.
The more I try to work with the new interface the more I hate it, esp. the dropdown menus. Definitively more clicks and longer ways to get there! Admin Invite used to be so easy and well placed below the comment box - now it takes 3 extra clicks!!!!!!!!!

That's easy to adjust.
I've received an answer from Andy (the developer of the award counter script), but he won't be on-line for a couple of days. So, I have uploaded a new version to userscripts.org/scripts/show/79986

Here is a very quick (and temporary) fix to show the quick comments on the new photo page: userscripts.org/scripts/show/80188
The new photo page layout breaks the Greasemonkey menu for the script. I'll let mortimer? handle that :)

The new Multi-Group Sender supposedly has the ability to save a selection so that you can reuse it in future similar sends as stated by @decembre in a very helpful previous comment:
("It lets you send images to multiple groups, it also loads much faster as it doesnt have to load all the group icons. It Also added a new function that lets you save the selection of groups that you submit to, letting you reselect them quickly the next time you need them, a search box, that lets you search your group list.)
Does anyone know how to do that?
Maybe Flickr should hire Steeev to show them how to incorporate his highly useful scripts and then pay him a retainer to maintain them.

"Flickr Buddy Icon reply yet for Firefox"
Fortunately, Flickr's new photo page layout includes a buddy icon reply. Just click "reply" next to the username of someone who's commented on the same photo.
(For discussion threads, nothing has changed, so the older scripts still work. Either way, you're covered. :-)

john weiss davespilbrow That quote by decembre is from Steeev's multi-group sender description and NOT Flickr's terrible new page multi-send. Their design DOES NOT allow for saving frequently used group selections, and that sucks.
There has been no word I can see from Steeev as to if or whether his GM script will be updated. I can not see being without it. Putting things into groups will become a tiresome chore.

The more I try, the less I can work with the new page in my group activities- it takes ages to 'cut and paste' link after link-
might as well take the summer off.
I thought after the last 'improvement' we deserved some quiet time- .

I got a message from Andy that the flickrAwardCounter has been patched!
But apparently, it has been updated with my first patch, the one that places the award counter just below the photo, instead of below the photo's description.
New features:
. option to count the number of galleries a photo has been added to
His update, v2.10 (with the counter between the photo and the description) can be downloaded from www.phazeshift.co.uk/awardcounter.html
A patched version v2.10 which places the award counter below the photo's description, can temporarily be downloaded from userscripts.org/scripts/show/79986

IrenicRhonda wrote beachwalker2008 wrote Flickr Award Counter Also updated. Click configure. In the pop up that opens at the top left in blue is the link to update to work with the new photo page
The way to update you suggested didn't work for me - but I found the script anyway. Don't like the positioning directly under the photo and before the title and description though. Alesa Dam fix places the award counter where it had been before - under the description. Personally, I would welcome just a link without the number of comments displayed.

When was bb code in Flickr?
If you mean you'd like the static URL to the .jpg,
then it's easy to right click and save the image
location when you're on your own All Sizes page.
If you want to use bb code with the required linkback,
I've been using Patr for Chrome, which includes
bb code right on the photopage (and has been
updated to work with the new photopages).
(Edited for formatting because someone above broke this page and it's now hard to read...)

Does it? I think I have the latest version of the flickrAwardCounter (2.10) and it shows right below the photo, before the title.
What am I doing wrong? I really wish it would show below the description...

CarlaFrancisco I installed this: userscripts.org/scripts/show/79986 - after I installed the award counter from here:
www.phazeshift.co.uk/awardcounter.html
I realize that the first is a temporary fix and the second the real thing - but the placement of the counter between image and title/description just doesn't work for me.
Since I already had the older version of the award counter installed, there may not have been a need to install the updated one - just the temporary patch.

Regarding Flickr new photo page title mover,
It's still working for me. I'm the author, and I'm willing to update the script for anyone that has a new version of the page. I don't know what changed, so:
1. Go to a photo page in Firefox
2. Press Ctrl + A (or Cmd + A) to select all
3. Right click and choose "View selection source"
4. Copy everything and paste it into a text file.
5. Go to Yousendit and put in some dummy e-mail to upload the file
6. Send me a Flickr Mail with a link to the uploaded file.
Or if you have DOM Inspector and could send me a screenshot of what's inside the DIV with the ID of "main" that would work even better.
