UPON RECEIVING AN INVITE TO POST A PICTURE INTO THE GROUP POOL:
Once you join the group, in your photostream click on the picture you want to post. Above the photo you will see an icon that says "Actions", then click on add to a group.

This brings up a list of all your groups. Since you just joined Flickr Envy - Public it will now be listed with your groups. Just click on it and a box will come up, then click OK and the picture is posted.

You can also do this in "Organize". There you just click on the photo and move it up on the Thumbnail screen. Then click on "Send to Group" and a list of your groups will come up and again click on Flickr Envy -Public.

Again, please keep in mind, as an invite only group, the above should be followed only AFTER receiving an invite to post your photo to this or one of the other Envy groups.

TO ADD A PHOTO WITHIN A TOPIC THREAD:

1. Open up the picture you want to post
2. At the top of the picture, click on the icon to Share this Photo
3. Click the size you want -small or medium - to post in the thread
4. Copy the code in the large enclosed box under the picture - to highlight the code just click inside the box - Use CTRL + C to Copy
5. Open thread you want to post the picture in.
6. Paste the code into the reply box. Use CTRL + V to paste it in the box

Please notice the new group Icon. We have one of our members, Barbera to thank for it. In the splitting off from the original group there were three groups all using the same Icon, and we lost our approval to use it. This photo, done by Barbera made it into Explore and it's very similar to our old Icon and retains the "Green with Envy" idea.

You are welcome here! This is a reincarnation of the Envy Group dedicated to remaining public by having a limited number of Admins; as that seems to be what caused problems multiple times in with the previous group. You simply can't have too many cooks in the kitchen as someone won't know the difference between sugar and salt.

Please invite photos that you "envy" -- those that you wish you'd taken yourself by using the code below.

Remember, this pool is about inviting photos from others that you envy.
Please do not post any photos, unless they were envied and invited by someone else.

GUIDELINES:

Censorship is undesirable in Flickr.

1) Address each individual member privately if there are issues with photos, personal issues and the like.

2) Only the person who posts a photo or an Admin can delete that photo. Photos will only be deleted by the Admin(s) if it goes against our 2 posting guidelines. (A) All the photos in the pool must have an invitation for either this or one of the Flickr Envy groups. (B) No pornography or other offensive posts.

3) The person who starts a thread or an Admin are the only ones permitted to delete it, but please only start another thread if you don't find another discussion addressing your subject.
