About Flickr degrees of seperation: a game
For flickr addicts to find connections.
The game:
this is a game simillar to "Lets play tag" only instead of people submitting their photos members browse flickr to find them and invite them into the group.
The flickr home page provides an example of the most recent uploads from everyone. group members find a recent upload that has tags. post a thumbnail of this photo in the group discussion board, and a comment on the photo stating "I found you while playing Flickr degrees of seperation, you are the first link. Please post this photo to the group pool" and add the tag "link1" then click on one of the photo\'s tags and view all public photos with that tag.
Find one from a different user. I should point out that this group is not about artistic merit, find photos that interest, amuse or befuddle you and add them to the group.
When you find the second photo leave a comment and a tag and select a DIFFERENT tag on that photo. repeat this process until you get bored or run into a photo with only one tag
have fun!

less confusing game rules:
step 1: Go here www.flickr.com/photos/
step 2: select photo that interests you
step 3: IF photo has tags continue, if not repeat step 1 and 2
step 4: Post link or thumbnail of the photo you selected to the "first link" discussion board of group.
step 4a: Post comment on photo with link to group
step 5: select tag from photo
step 6: view all public photos with same tag
step 7: select photo from a different user
step 7a: post comment on photo with link to group and link #
step 8: select new tag from photo
step 9: view all public photos with same tag
step 10: repeat ad infinitum/until you get bored/until you find a photo that only has one tag. (photos with only one tag are "the end of the line" and should be posted to that thread)
If someone finds your photo in this manner, please post it to the group. There is no posting limit, but please only post photos that have been "discovered" in the above manner.
